Assalamu’alaikum brothers and sisters,
How was your Eid? What did you get up to? Anything special? I’m sure that you guys had a great time celebrating Eidul Fitri festival with your extended family members and fellow friends. Sorry for the long silence. Mid semester break will end sooner or later and classes will start as usual. So I hope that we could set up our heart and mind in a peak of preparedness. Here, I have an analogy to share with you guys. Just to give you the picture of how awesome and beautiful makhluq that Allah has created in order for us to ponder. Subhanallah! God the Al-Mighty.
Okay, people would always love to eat a fresh fish right? Especially Japanese people. Well, most of the Japanese mentioned that to keep fish tasting fresh all the time, they add a small shark into a tank. The shark eats a few fish and most of the fish that stay alive is in a very energetic and dynamic state. Subhanallah, very interesting, isn’t it? You see the fish are challenged and hence are constantly on the move. Same as the difficulties and hardships that we gone through in our lives are exactly like little sharks. The challenge that we face keeps us fresh. Allah sends them to ensure that we stay ALIVE, AWAKE, VIBRANT and ACTIVE in our lives. But if we begin to go easy on our duties, we may be one of the fish eaten by the shark.
Thus, whenever you are in the middle of difficulties just don’t give up. Instead we should reorganize and restructure with full determination, knowledge and ask help from Allah, the Source of All Power. He has always had the best solutions to your problem and trouble, insha Allah.
